May 13, 2022 was the day when Kev arrived in NAIA Terminal 3. From the day before his arrival up until the day when I’ll pick him up at the airport, I felt different emotions. I felt really happy and excited because we will be together after few months of waiting but I also got nervous because that was the first time we’ll see each other. Lots of thoughts came in my head while waiting for him to arrive. What if he won’t like me when he sees me?What should I do when I see him? Should I run towards him? Should I hug him? Should I kiss him? Those are some of the thoughts I had that time. But of course I didn’t let those thoughts win over me. When I first saw Kev, I felt an unexplainable happiness within me. The first thought that I had the first time I saw him walking was that I want to hug him really tight and that’s what I did. I ran towards him, opened my arms as I really want to hug him tightly. Feeling him next to me, hugging me, holding my hand, being with the man I love was one of the happiest day of our lives. Waiting for few months was all worth it.
